Hi, my name is Roy Palmer and for the last ten years I have been applying my skills as a teacher of The Alexander Technique to sport and fitness training.
For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed sport. If I wasn't playing it, I was watching it. Right through my teens and into my early twenties I stayed active and fit playing at least six different sports, training in karate and in my spare time swimming or running. I saw myself doing this for many years to come... until the injuries started.
Initially they were just a discomfort and caused only slight inconvenience, so I ignored them. Soon they became more serious and I started to need breaks from my training to recover. I hated this and would rush back as soon as possible - not clever!
