The eZone: Break through to a new level of fitness by doing less?
November 09, 2006
Dear

This is a special edition of The eZone to tell you about my new book Zone Mind, Zone Body (Ecademy Press) out tomorrow. This book contains everything I have learnt over the last 10 years studying performance and fitness from a radical new angle - and thankfully it is more than just one page in length :0)

I have been researching the phenomena known in sport as 'The Zone', also referred to as 'the flow'. It puzzled me that why should my best performances feel so easy when surely conventional wisdom tells us it should be difficult.

"This book will be a very useful addition to the tool kit of any coach or performer." Greg Chappell MBE, former Australian Cricket Captain and current India National Team Coach.

"In this terrific book Roy Palmer succeeds where many have failed: namely to talk about 'the zone' coherently, elegantly and best of all practically." Malcolm Balk author of 'Master The Art of Running'.

I believe most conventional fitness routines develop habits that are likely to make movement harder than it needs to be. They can also encourage an attitude that could well be keeping us out of The Zone.

In this book I look at the experiences of athletes performing at their peak and believe I have discovered a way of drastically improving your chances of getting into The Zone. The short of it is you should not try at all! But how do you go about it?

Well, you will just have to read the book!

Up until the end of November you can order the book plus some special features at a discounted price.
