The eZone – Are you setting right goals to succeed?
September 01, 2006
Hi,

Welcome to this special edition of The eZone. Why is it special? As I sat down to write it I realized it was exactly a year ago I started the website when the renewal email arrived. To mark this occasion I have come up with an extra special offer that I know will interest you – more later.

When I started the site I had a number of goals I wanted to achieve so I thought this could be the theme for this month.

In this issue

1. One year on – a man with a mission

2. Setting Goals

3. A Big Thank You!

4. A Very Special Offer

1. One year on – a man with a mission

One of my New Years resolutions for 2006 was to bring The Alexander Technique to a wider audience in the sports and fitness world. Looking back over the visitor statistics I found the site has grown from an average of just 6 visitors a day in the beginning to well over 380 a day for the month of August! Based on the feedback I receive I know the majority of people coming to this site had not previously heard of The Alexander Technique so I know I’m on the right track with this goal.

It is surprising a method that can work wonders for your movement and injury prevention is not better known by athletes. Alexander made a fundamental discovery with such far-reaching implications for not only human activity but also the behavioural sciences.

For more information on this remarkable man and his discovery see F.M. Alexander

2. Setting goals

If you want to achieve a specific target how do you go about it? If you set yourself goals, how do you determine which ones to set? Setting goals is an important step and will greatly influence your chances of success. I have written a guide on how to set goals that will increase your chances of achieving your sporting ambition. Sometimes the most obvious goal may not the best one to set yourself and many miss out some of the most fundamental steps! Are you missing your targets due to poor goal setting?

I’ve just added my guide to the free download screen, so why not be the first to try it out and let me know how you get on.

To get your copy click see What’s Your Target? and look for the request form to download the guide.

3. A Big Thank You
